TSD — Tongue Stabilizing Device - AveoTSD.

TRD — This is a device that might or might not move the mandible forward; however it will restrain the tongue so as to not fall back. Device such as Full Breath solutions fits this category.

EMAD — Myerson EMA. This uses elastic bands to determine the level the jaw moves forward and provides the ability for the jaw to move from side to side.

MAD(s) - Mandible Advancement Device (splint) — These devices move the jaw forward and because the tongue is attached to the jaw the airway is opened. There are about fifty devices in this category the more popular ones are: Somnomed, Tap, Herbst. These typically will move the jaw forward but not allow side to side movement.
